Exposition du Laboratoire de Technologie Multimédia Interactive pour la Danse et la Performance, organisée par l’Équipe de Recherche en Technologie Appliquée à la Danse et le Centre d’Art Sonore (C.A.So.).

 

L’intersection de deux acteurs apparemment antagonistes. La relation étroite entre ce qui, à première vue, semble stérile, rationnel, exact, répétitif, et ce qui est flexible, fertile. Le questionnement comme moteur initial, amplifié et microscopique, artificiel, faisant et défaisant, soumettant.

 

L’idée naît comme une nécessité de fusion interdisciplinaire entre une biologiste (spécialiste des poissons et des neurosciences) et une artiste et scénographe. C’est le devenir de l’impulsion de représenter la sensation d’habiter un laboratoire de comportement animal.

The intersection of two seemingly antagonistic forces. The close relationship between what at first glance appears sterile, rational, exact, repetitive, and what is flexible, fertile. Questioning as an initial driving force, amplified and microscopic, artificial, making and unmaking, subjecting.

 

The idea emerges as a need for interdisciplinary fusion between a biologist (specializing in fish and neuroscience) and an artist and scenographer. It is the unfolding of the impulse to represent the sensation of inhabiting an animal behavior laboratory.

La intersección de dos actores aparentemente antagónicos. La estrecha relación entre lo que a primera vista parece esteril, racional, exacto, repetitivo y lo flexible, lo fértil. El cuestionamiento como motor inicial, amplificado y microscópico, artificial, haciendo y deshaciendo, sometiendo.

La idea surge como una necesidad de fusión interdisciplinar entre una bióloga (especialista en peces y neurociencia) y una artista y escenógrafa. Es el devenir del impulso de representar la sensación de habitar un laboratorio de comportamiento animal.
